When we played Sturgis SD in the summer of '00 we stayed at the Raddisson Hotel and the staff was wearing these shirts. So...on the way out I cajoled the desk clerk to give me one. /eb

Black and Blue Tour shirt from the Pittsburg Black and Blue show. Black and Blue was a great package tour, did a ton of business for both bands even tho the Sabs weren't overly friendly. /eb

Day on the Green...great memories of great shows promoted by the late Bill Graham, born Wolfgang Grajonca. To this day, he was the best at what he did. He went beyond what was necessary to make a show great. He's missed. /eb

1981 Tour shirt. Back to Bill Graham, he owned Winterland, a merchandise company that many bands used and still use. They would design these shirts and travel with us to sell them, often sending a rep on our tour buses. /eb

This must be a rare one, from Puerto Rico, our only show there. Michael Bolton was our support act on this show, playing hard rock before he changed to pop music. I ran into him in an airport last year and he was quite chatty and friendly. /eb

1983-84 tour scarf from Euro-tour. It must a Euro-thing, tour scarves, 'cause you don't see them in the USA as merchandise. It's very common to see the fans waving these from the audience during a show. /eb

Well, boc history is a part of this shirt. Rick Downey's first semi-official show as our drummer (after West Runton being the real first show). We were supporting AC/DC at this huge festival (70,000 plus). They 'sand-bagged us', rock slang for ruining our sound on purpose for some slight we did to them years before. /eb

This is a tour shirt from a few shows we did with Heart, Ted Nugent, Loverboy that went across Canada in a leased 737. If you can imagine all the bands, crews, hangers-on on one plane? Those poor flight attendants. /eb

Tour shirt from the Rose Bowl with Journey headlining. I think Ted Nugent was on this date as well. /eb

Northern California tour shirt with Cheap Trick. To this day, Cheap Trick is one of my favorite bands. How great is "Black and White and in Color"? I wish we could play more shows with them these days. /eb

The Total Recall tour shirt. This tour was a lot of fun, playing with old friends. I think Nazareth is one of the most under-rated bands of all time. And God Bless Daryl Sweet, a great guy. We miss ya. /eb

We played the Sunrock Midsummer Festival on June 25th 1983 in Forssa, Suomi, a festival they have every year on the summer solstice. Suomi is what the Finnish folks call Finland and I also learned some phonetic Finnish lines to say to the audience which went over nicely. /eb

This green shirt is from "Simon Sez" a store that used to exist on Melrose in LA. They were selling them as a heat transfer (remember those?) to any shirt. I am guessing around 1973 we weren't selling merchandise yet so we got these to sell. This is the first BOC merchandise. /eb

This T-shirt is inspired by Spinal Tap...i.e. the puppet show reference. When we played the same venue as in Spinal Tap, where the audience is asked about if they like their 'new direction', we asked if we could get 'Puppet Show' put up on the same marqee, but they wouldn't do it.

The back of the "Puppet Show' shirt shows the Reaper vs. Godzilla...who would win? /eb

A club t-shirt from Greece when we played there a few years back. The promoters were great and so were the Greek fans. (and some of the best food I've ever had) /eb
